Cheshire, UK
Reclaimed World is a unique reclamation, salvage and antiques emporium, based in the heart of Cheshire. Now in its fifth year, the site has expanded to a fantastic 3 acres of wonder, encompassing two large, beautifully laid out indoor showrooms and extensive garden areas, in addition to our enormous selection of reclaimed stone, flooring and building materials.
Keen to spread the word, the Reclaimed World team have taken to the road this Summer, packing a taster selection of their extensive range of indoor and outdoor furniture, lighting, decorative items and reclaimed goods into a spectacular red London bus which forms the centrepiece of our travelling trade stand - first stop, the Arthur Swallow Fairs Decorative Home and Salvage Show at the Cheshire Showground, where she attracted many an admirer! This unmistakable automotive icon of the swinging sixties is on hire from Cheshire charity St Lukes Hospice, who Reclaimed World are very proud to support. Bedecked with an industrial style reclaimed scaffold board floor with table tops to match, and window dressings incorporating vintage inspired prints by internationally renowned Cheshire based design team Chase and Wonder, the bus provides a unique funky showroom in which to showcase Reclaimed World's vast variety of treasures.
Unfortunately, we feel that the 330 mile round trip from Cheshire to Oxfordshire might be too much to ask of our gorgeous old girl, but the Reclaimed World team will nonetheless be exhibiting, minus bus, at the much anticipated Salvo Fair to be held in Henley later this month. We aim to showcase the wide variety of goods on offer at Reclaimed World, including vintage, antique and bespoke furniture and decorative objects for the home and garden, our unique lighting range crafted from re-purposed musical instruments and other fun objects, and of course our more traditional salvage materials such as reclaimed stone, wood, slate, doors, bricks, troughs, ironwork and stained glass.
This year's Salvo Fair is tipped to be the highlight of the architectural salvage calendar, with over 80 exhibitors from the UK and Europe spread over 10 acres of deer park on the impressive estate of Sir William McAlpine at Fawley Hill, Henley. Around 5,500 visitors are expected over the event between 23rd - 25th June, all tempted in by the opportunity to purchase superb examples of architectural salvage, garden items, decorative antiques, midcentury, vintage and industrial pieces and reclaimed building materials.
