At Hampton Court Flower Show, held from 6-11 July 2010, was a small silver medal awarded garden that reused cut old roof tiles on edge to clad steps and a herringbone path of small terraces to great effect. The garden was designed by Terrie Wixon Gibbs and built by Oliver's Florascapes. Terry Garrett, from Salvo, said "The landscaper hand cut all the roof tiles and laid vertical cut pieces to form the steps edging and reused wood for the gate and posts, even though their website does not appear to focus on reuse."
