DappR Aviation was founded in 2014, after a chance encounter with a commercial aircraft in need of recycling, rather than discarding these beautifully engineered parts to scrap DappR decided to up-cycle the materials. There has been a steady increase of decommissioned aircrafts with the rapid pace of innovation within the aviation industry resulting in a huge number of redundant planes. Valuable parts can be harvested and reused within the industry whilst the residual air frame, and parts are destined for the scrap. This is where DappR Aviation steps in using their creative vision and skill, to combine the aircraft and helicopter components with sustainably sourced local hardwoods to produce unique handmade furniture, art, carvings and garden buildings. Available for private commission all pieces are hand crafted in DappR’s Suffolk workshop by skilled craftsmen.
