UK Architectural Antiques
Staffordshire based UKAA is a third generation family business trading in architectural antiques, garden antiques, reclamation and salvage. Set in the picturesque Cannock Wood they offer a good selection of antique furniture, bygones, floorboards, cast iron radiators, garden antiques as well as their own made to measure furniture. Also selling a range of new items to complement their stock which includes Carron cast iron radiators, stoves, fireplaces, cast iron baths and towel rails, and Thomas Crapper sanitary ware.
Flooring includes antique pine floorboards and re-sawn boards cut from original joists, both tongue and groove and square edge are available, reclaimed parquet, terracotta or brindle quarry tiles all salvaged from across the UK. They hold a large stock of reclaimed church and chapel chairs, that come in a variety of colours ranging from light pine to a dark mahogany colour which can also be painted to a chosen colour. Known for their collection of antique original Royal Mail post boxes, some dating from the Victorian period, which are all refurbished on site.
UKAA handcraft bespoke zinc, brass, copper and reclaimed pine tables, kitchen worktops and benches, in house by the team of experienced joiners. Their bespoke zinc worktops can be found in a range of high end houses from Nigella Lawson’s kitchen to National Trust properties, zinc work tops have always been used for its proven robust nature and a finish that seems to improve with age.
Office and showrooms are normally open for visitors: Monday to Friday 9am to 5.30pm and Saturday 10am to 4pm and Closed on Sundays.
