Victorian Grand Scale Solid English Oak Fire Surround.
A grand scale Victorian fire surround.
Column moulding on the legs (jamb).
Highly detailed with lovely hand carvings.
The surround measures 782 ½" Wide x 57" Tall.
The mantel shelf is 14 ¾" Deep.
The insert aperture is 51 ¼" Wide x 45" Tall.
The distance from outside of the leg to the outside of the leg is 79".
The main construction comes into 4 pieces for ease of transport. This simply screws together.
Circa 1880.
This is a rare item and in very good condition - it is ready for installation and use.
