A substantial heavy duty zinc galvanised iron tank.
Huge presence, aged patina and wear giving it great character. Large riveted construction, carrying handles and detailing. The sides taper to the base which has a reinforced cross stretcher support with disc pad feet on the underside.
It was possibly made by DAVIES BROS LTD. WOLVERHAMPTON, established in 1839. This dates between the mid 19th to early 20th Century.

The tank has been cleaned and any loose rusting removed. It has then been treated with a rust inhibitor / sealer, which means there should be no further rusting.
Suitable for inside or outside use. Planter, log bin, storage, decorative statement item. Rare item.
