A vintage industrial aluminium dome ceiling pendant with toughened glass lens and IP65 protection. Its robust and durable industrial design means these ceiling lights can be used outdoors, in wet zones such as bathrooms and is ideal and stylish kitchen lighting. Originally a marine lighting fixture used on cargo ships built during the 1970's. They have been reclaimed and professionally restored by hand in the UK by Loomlight for use in modern interiors. Supplied with 1 metre of high quality braided cable, hanging chain and ceiling hooks as standard.
The thick glass lens opens the beam for a wider light coverage. To change the bulb undo the wing nuts and the hinged front opens revealing the inside of the dome. The framework around the glass is cast aluminium and the dome itself is spun aluminium, the wing nuts and cable entry gland are machined brass.
All lights are professionally re-wired in-house to exceed British Standards using CE approved components. Dimensions and weights are approximate. For all orders to USA, UL listed bulb holders and 100v bulbs will be fitted. All lights are sold ready for use in your home or commercial installation.
