A Rare Victorian Cottam & Hallam Cast Iron Corner Horse Trough/Manger/Feeder
£ 800 plus VAT
Quantity in stock: 1
You are viewing an extremely rare example of a Victorian heavy cast iron corner feeder. This was produced by Cottam & Hallam of Oxford Street, London, and is well over 150 years old. This and similar designs were exhibited by the manufacturers at the Great Exhibition of 1851. We cannot find any other examples of this type available to buy anywhere.
It measures 46" x 45" x 19" and has a small crack at one end of the larger bowl. But for something of this age, it is in a fantastic condition, and could still be used as feeder, or even a wall mounted planter.
This feeder can be viewed at our 3 acre reclamation yard based in Shropshire, during normal working hours.
Listed price is collected from us but we can arrange delivery via our own transport or pallet courier.
