Victorian Chapel Bench / Table with cast iron legs. One unit is table and bench. One unit is a bench on its own with the table missing. The break can be seen in the pics. The makers name can be seen on the cast iron legs it reads on one side “T LARMUTH & Co SALFORD” on the other side “C H SIDEBOTHAM PATENTEE”.
Some areas of damage visible in the pics. Some splits and the wood directly under the desk is missing a section but still structurally sound.
Historically the table top swivels to create a backrest for the bench although this mechanism has been untested. Cute inkwells are in the table top with a brass marker with the number 202. Has been repainted and waxed.
