Large Georgian RH Rim Lock

A large late 1700s refurbished right handed antique rim lock from a Georgian Scottish property. Key operated from the outside, slide thumb latch for the inside. The key and keep aren't original to the lock but are of the right period. All refurbished and lightly polished, with the keep it weighs 3kg.

Screw less design, the lock slides over the steel plate (the plate is screwed to the door) and fixed with a grub screw, the keep has a cover plate, secured internally by 2 grub screws.

We do have a few other locks from the same property awaiting a bit of work.
