A pretty little table comprising a substantial vintage pine top and an extended Authentic Singer sewing machine base. Ideal for indoor or outdoor use though the latter would require the top to be regularly waxed or covered. The organic web-pattern cast iron legs contain the elliptical Singer logo of a shuttle, cotton reel and crossed needles first seen on their domestic machines since 1875. Three later blackened steel stretchers and decorative fixing plates run the length of the table and four original castors, when oiled, will allow easy lateral movement.
