A fabulous ride-on turquoise green Sherman tank made by the famous Baeyens family in Melle (France) under the brand L'autopede.
At over five feet long (1.65 metres) this is no children's toy - but an all metal monster of a ride with moveable turret, lights, rubber tyre wheels and so much more!
L'autopede rides are highly collectable and rare in the UK. The level of detailing is amazing and styling simply superlative.
Further research suggests this has its original paint and is only missing its original barrel, twin metal (toy) machine-guns mounted on the two bonnet pinions and twin leatherette seats fore and aft. The floor pans are rusted through but are original.
A truly amazing find - it would be fabulous to see this restored to its former beauty..
