C1910 Waring and Gillow set of 12 chairs similar design table, sideboard and buffet

A set of chairs by quality makers Waring and Gillow C1910. 11 of these chairs have the makers tag on them. A carver chair was specially made to replace the previously damaged carver in the 1980’s when the other furniture to match was made bespoke for this suite. The chairs are large and comfortable and in lovely condition. The chairs have the MacDonald tartan seats.

In the 1980’s a bespoke extendable table was made for these chairs. Maker unknown but very good quality. Flameburst mahogany with a total length of 12 foot and a width of 4 foot, can be reduced to 8 foot, height is 27-28 inches. Again nice condition with just the usual small scratches etc. Beautifully made ball and claw legs. The middle section of the table is a different shade as not used as much. With that a bespoke sideboard made to match, also in good condition and again a bespoke matching buffet.
