A late 19th century cast and wrought iron dog grate by Thomas Elsley (marked to back) depicting the fable of the Fox and Crane, the bow fronted grate with scrolled supports.
In excellent condition. Cleaned and waxed. No rust.

25.625"/62.5cm max width at feet.
Max depth is 13"/33cm.
Useable space inside grate;
16"/40.5cm wide x 8.5"/21.5cm max depth x 8.5"/22cm height (7.25"/18.5cm height at the front to top bar).
