Original Mek Elek London machinist lamp circa 1940, this has been stripped, cleaned and fully rewired, it has then been mounted on a bespoke made side table base, made with a cast iron top, reclaimed timber shelf with antique ceramic castors.


The base compliments this lamp perfectly, both have lots of patina. Not your usual Mek Elek lamp bolted to an old brake disc or sprocket! This is a totally unique and one off floor lamp, you will certainly not find another, designed and created by myself.


The lamp itself has 3 epicycle joints, swivels at its base and the head also turns through. Can be set in many different positions and even collapsed as pictured.


Wired with 3 core braided flex,

Foot operated switch,

Led filament style bulb,

1930mm tall (fully extended)

Base 380mm (wide), 370mm (deep), 360mm (height of top)
