18th Century Antique Cast Iron Fireback

A large antique 18th century cast iron fireback. Plain with ogee perimeter moulding. Wear to the base from extended use but useable. Reclaimed from an English farm house. Used to prevent damage to the wall behind a fireplace and acts as a radiator.
Sturdy and stable. Heavy; estimate 70-80kg.

40"/102cms wide, 27"/69cms tall, 1.125"/2.8cms thick.
