Six marble chimneypieces: Part 1
Stolen from London, England on or after 25 October 2002.
TWO of SIX ITEMS: Item ONE - A George III carved Carrara marble chimneypiece, the plain moulded frieze centred by a tablet carved with an urn flanked by a pair of winged female creatures, the jambs with double scrolled corbels and acanthus leaves, approx 144 cm high by 187 cm wide.
Item TWO - A George III carved Carrara marble chimneypiece, the dentil moulded cornice above a frieze centred by a raised tablet carved with a vase and flanked by carved wheat roundels, the jambs of Spanish brocatelle columns with Ionic capitals, approx 173 cm high by 222 cm wide.
For the recovery of these items a large reward is offered.
